The Workplace Burnout Pilot Program


Are you feeling burned out at work?
Ready to try something different to fight burnout?

We’re looking for 30 volunteers to participate in a pilot program to test whether 15-minutes of daily meditative exercise can reduce feelings of burnout.

Studies show daily meditative exercise has been beneficial for physiotherapists and nurses experiencing burnout. Now we want to bring these exercises to everyone!

Help us determine if 15-minutes of daily meditative exercise can help working professionals reduce burnout symptoms like: chronic stress, feelings of exhaustion and detachment, and/or decreased work performance.

The program starts
October 30, 2023 through November 10, 2023.

It's appropriate for all ages and ability levels.

To qualify, you must be currently:

1) working a full-time professional job

2) experiencing symptoms of burnout like: chronic exhaustion, detachment from your work, patients, clients or co-workers, and/or decreased focus/performance at work

3) free from acute or serious chronic illness

And agree to fully participate in these activities:

Complete a Burnout Assessment before the program begins.

For 10-out-of-12 days, independently practice a 5-minute recorded exercise before your workday begins and another
5-minute recorded exercise before bedtime.

Attend live, 5-minute
lunchtime group meditative exercise sessions via Zoom (with camera on).

Take the Burnout Assessment again at the end of the program.

Total Time Commitment

15 minutes per day for 10 days starting October 30, 2023 through November 10, 2023. You'll practice:

5 minutes before work (pre-recorded video)

5 minutes before bed (pre-recorded video)

5 minutes at lunch (live via Zoom)
(2 time slots available)

Upon full completion, you'll receive:

1. Lifetime access to recordings of the meditative exercises practiced in this program

2. 30-minute coaching session with energy coach and wellbeing consultant Kyra Cavanaugh
